Develop a mutually supportive culture, says IOC's Sanjiv Singh

"Let us develop a culture which is mutually supportive," says Sanjiv Singh, Director (Refineries), IndianOil, during International Women's Day celebration at Refineries DivisionIn IndianOil, a large number of women are opting for challenging assignments in refinery plants, and are performing exceedingly well. We are taking many constructive measures to empower them, and for developing a mutually supportive culture in the organisation to help women employees realise their true potential, said Sanjiv Singh, Director (Refineries), IndianOil. He was addressing the gathering of women employees and senior executives at International Women's Day celebrations at IOC Refineries Headquarters in New Delhi, under the aegis of WIPS (Women in Public Sector).

Stuti Narain Kacker, Chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), Chief Guest of the occasion, shared her experiences as a civil servant in field locations, and called upon senior women professionals to mentor younger professionals, encouraging them to take up challenging tasks. To mark the occasion, a special publication capturing the dynamic achievements of women IOCians was released by the dignitaries.
