Ambuja Neotia planning to list hospitality biz in FY2026-27

New Delhi: The Ambuja Neotia Group is gearing up to list its hospitality business in FY27, Chairman Harshavardhan Neotia said. The Kolkata-based conglomerate has begun consolidating its scattered hospitality assets under one entity, with the process targeted for completion by March 2026.

“We are merging multiple hospitality businesses, some of which have external partners, into one unit. Once that’s done, we’ll decide whether to bring in private equity or go for an IPO,” Neotia said.

Known largely for its real estate ventures in eastern India, the group has been steadily growing its hotel portfolio. In FY25, hospitality accounted for about 25 per cent of its estimated Rs 2,000 crore turnover.

The group owns and operates three hotels directly and 10 through partnerships, including with Indian Hotels Company Ltd (Taj Group). It also runs a joint venture with IHCL for the Tree of Life Resorts brand, which is set to expand from 14 to nearly 100 properties.

Meanwhile, Ambuja Neotia continues expanding residential projects in Kolkata, Siliguri, and Patna, with 12 million sq ft under development.
