Bundling out WI for 148 will give bowlers confidence: Rajput

India A coach Lalchand Rajput Friday said the side’s comprehensive win against West Indies would boost the confidence of his bowlers. West Indies were bowled out for a paltry 148 runs while India A chased down the target in 25.3 overs.

‘It was a good thing that we could get them all out very early. Especially, the spinners bowled really well. (Amit) Mishra, Karn (Sharma) and Parveez (Rasool). Overall, if you see, a national team getting out early, it will give a lot confidence to the bowlers and the team as well,’ Rajput said at the post-match conference. Rajput however warned that the visitors would bounce back well during their games against the national side starting from October 8. ‘When you play an international game, it would be totally different. Their four players are not there as well (Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo and Dwayne Smith).
