Budget session of LS extended by three days

The Lok Sabha Budget session of, which was to conclude on Friday, is to be extended by three days and will now end on May 13 with the government set to push the contentious Land Bill. With this, the end of the second part of the Budget session of the Lower House will coincide with that of the Rajya Sabha. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCP) chaired by Rajnath Singh. Rajiv Pratap Rudy said many legislations are pending and hence the CCP has decided to recommend extending the session in Lok Sabha.
