BSP, RJD MLAs to join Congress today

In a boost to the Congress ahead of the upcoming assembly polls, two sitting MLAs from Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Rashtriya Janata Dal along with a former MLA and a former municipal councilor will join the party on Friday.
Popular Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi would also join the Congress on Friday in the presence of chief minister Sheila Dikshit and DPCC president JP Aggrawal.
The party hopes that the development will act as a morale booster for party workers in the city.
According to sources, RJD MLA from Okhla constituency Asif Mohammad Khan, BSP MLA representing Badarpur will switch loyalties. Veteran Gujjar leader and former MLA Ramvir Singh Bidhuri and former BJP councillor Dr VK Monga will also join.
