BSF jawan’s widow alleges rape

A widow of a BSF jawan was allegedly raped by a veterinary doctor in south Delhi’s Mehrauli area. A case has been registered against the accused and the police are probing the matter in all plausible angles.
The incident was reported on Tuesday when the complainant reached the police station to file the complaint against her tenant who is a veterinary doctor. The victim stays with her children at the first floor while she had given the ground floor on rent to the accused whose identity has not been disclosed by the cops.
According to the victim, on Tuesday she was alone when the accused forcibly entered the first floor. Finding her alone at home, he allegedly raped her. The police official close to investigation said, the accused had taken the ground floor on rent around a year ago. Husband of the victim was posted as a BSF jawan but few years ago he died on duty. The government had given compensation in the form of cash to her. The investigating officers are intensively quizzing the accused. A case under the relevant sections of the IPC has been registered at the Mehrauli police station.
Meanwhile, a second year student of Gargi College was allegedly molested by her friend at a house in Khanpur area.
