Boy killed after getting involved in fight

A 17-year-old boy was brutally killed by a group of men allegedly known to him in South-east Delhi’s Govindpuri area on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. Delhi Police have detained two persons in connection with the murder.

According to the family members of the deceased, identified as Rahul, four men came to their house on Monday and took him with them. Rahul did not return home that night and his body was discovered in the morning by the locals lying in a pool of blood.

His parents told the police, that a few days ago Rahul was involved in a fight with the same group of people. 

“The exact cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained as the accused are still absconding. Raids are being conducted to nab them. A case of murder has been registered at Govindpuri police station,” a police official said.
