Books to honor Castro to be launched in Cuba

Two books on late Cuban leader Fidel Castro, highlighting his speeches and interviews, will be launched here on his 87th birthday on 13 August.
‘Fidel Castro, soldado de las ideas’ (Fidel Castro, a soldier of ideas), ‘Tecnologias y medios de comunicacion’ (Technology and media), and ‘Seleccion tematica 1959-2011’ (1959-2011 Thematic Selection), by Omar Perez Solomon, will be launched on 13 August in the capital's Cuba Pavilion ‘Salon de Mayo’, the Cuban Book Institute stated.
The book includes a selection of texts taken from speeches, reports, and interviews, categorized by topics such as free speech, commercial advertising, access and distribution of content on the Internet, digital divide, brain drain, and the recreation industry.
