BoB efforts to bring rural India under its domain

In order to implement Comprehensive Financial Inclusion (CFI) in the region, Bank of Baroda has completed all its necessary preparation and is fully geared up for bringing rural India under its domain of modern banking. Under the initiative bank will be opening saving A/Cs of both husband and wife who are living in the villages as part of financial inclusion programme.
To discuss the progress and future plan regarding SVS, a press conference was held in Dehradun at Bank of Baroda’s regional office on Monday evening. On this occasion, Bank’s regional head and assistant general manager SK Mishra told that, ‘the plan initiated by the central government is laudable and has far reaching good effects pertaining to social welfare. We welcome the decision taken by the central government and will definitely fulfill the aim towards the interest of region.’
He further added, ‘The success of the campaign lies in providing banking services to each and every family. Bank will open saving accounts of families in planned manner. For this purpose, we will organise camps and will create awareness amongst people of the region’.
