Blustery conditions prevail in Capital

An overcast sky prevailed throughout the day in Delhi on Sunday a day after rains and hailstorms lashed the city reviving chilly conditions. The maximum temperature was recorded 26 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year and 1.2 degrees less than on Saturday’s maximum, while the minimum settled at 14 degrees Celsius, 1.5 degrees more than on Saturday’s minimum and two notches below the season’s average, MeT officials said. The city had received 9.8 mm rainfall till 8.30 AM. Humidity in air oscillated between 59 and 100 per cent. One or two spells of rains or thundershowers may occur till noon on Monday, MeT officials predicted.
