Blaze-battling Aus faces fresh bushfire emergency

Australian state of New South Wales (NSW) on Wednesday issued an emergency warning for a fresh bushfire, even as more than 3,000 firefighters continue battling devastating blazes raging across the region that has already destroyed over 200 homes, displacing thousands.
NSW Rural Fire Service said firemen have been working around homes in Minmi in Newcastle, north of Sydney, where the new fire has started with high temperatures, low humidity and strong winds of up to 100kmh forecast for Wednesday.
A local school was relocated to the Community Centre as a precaution.
