Former India captain Sourav Ganguly on Thursday lashed out at people who attacked Anushka Sharma for Virat Kohli’s failure with the bat in the World Cup semifinal against Australia, saying it showed their immaturity. After actress Anushka was attacked by the twitterati, Ganguly said it’s sad to see the mindset of such people. “What wrong Anushka has done? She had only gone to see a cricket match like the families of other players. It is unfair to blame her for Kohli’s performance. It is the immaturity of people (criticising Anushka). When two people are in love, there is nothing wrong in that,” Ganguly said. Kohli scored just one run as India were thrashed by Australia by 95 runs in the second semifinal at SCG.
