BJP to build 400 hi-tech offices across India

Buoyed over a good response to its membership drive, the BJP has planned a massive expansion drive and it plans to have hi-tech digitally connected 400-state-of-the art offices across the length and breadth of the country, which include even at Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh in the North-East and Cape Comrin in Kanyakumari.

The BJP claims that it is the world’s largest party and is inching towards 10 crore membership mark. If the expansion plan is implemented, the party may have offices even in all the 676 districts of the country.

“His (Amit Shah) idea is to take party headquarters to them through video conferencing and other mode of digital communication. This will strengthen party bases across India and it will also create an atmosphere of bonding with the party workers on a regular basis,” BJP National Secretary Shrikant Sharma said.

Some of the extreme places, where the party will have its offices are Great Nicobar, Cape Comorin at Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and Kumki at Changlang district at Arunachal Pradesh among others.

The idea behind having offices across each corner of India was conceptualized by party President Amit Shah and “foundation laying ceremony” will start from 2016. Shah felt that it was often became difficult for people at remote places to visit Delhi with their grievances and ideas.

Plans are there to train nearly 17 lakh new members to understand the party ideology and once the training will be over, all of them will be asked to serve the people through these upcoming party offices.

“There will be provisions of e-libraries in all the offices where new party members will be asked to go through central achievements and state histories in term of elections, peoples demand and issues. Unless they will be loaded with such information, how can they will take the issues to the people. Therefore, it is necessary for them to be update themselves with the vision of our party President,” Sharma said.
