Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Sunday alleged that ‘BJP may conspire large scale communal violence in Uttar Pradesh for political gains,’ and said ‘there was an intelligence input in this regard’.
‘As per intelligence reports the state government has received, BJP may conspire large scale communal violence in Uttar Pradesh for political reasons. He was also told about it,’ Yadav said. ‘The state government is vigilant to meet any such situation and will not allow any one to disturb the communal harmony of the state,’ Yadav further said.
He was addressing series of election meetings in favour of party candidate Tej Pratap Yadav for the Mainpuri Loksabha bypoll.
He alleged that BJP, which succeeded in forming the government at the Centre, has failed to fulfil its promises and ‘achchey din (good days)’ remains elusive for the people.
