‘BJP is Bharaitya Jhagda Party’

The Congress on Monday slammed the BJP for the constant infighting existing within its various cadres. Congress leader Rajiv Shukla attacked the opposition saying, 'BJP is not Bharatiya Janata Party but Bharaitya Jhagda Party.'

The Opposition has been embroiled in a controversy, after senior RSS leader MG Vaidya suggesting that Gujarat CM Modi was behind Jethmalani’s demand for Gadkari’s resignation.

Speaking to Millennium Post, Shukla said, 'I made this statement regarding the constant infighting within the BJP. There is a constant internal war going on between various leaders within the party. This is evident with the latest case of what RSS leader MG Vaidya posted on his blog regarding Jethmalani demanding Nitin Gadkari's resignation.'

Speaking on the issue Manish Tewari said, 'Why should the RSS be concerned over a factional fight within the BJP leaders. RSS remote controls the BJP, the umbilical cord stretches all the way to Nagpur.' Digvijaya Singh said, 'Don't know where Vaidya lies in the hierarchy of RSS, don't know if he is taken seriously.'

Ironically even BJP  sought a distance from Vaidya’s remark, saying that no such information has been given to the party. In his blog, Vaidya said  'needle of suspicion in the campaign against Gadkari points to Gujarat BJP and Modi.'
