BJP demands roll back in increased prices

BJP on Friday demanded a immediate roll back in the prices of cooking gas, CNG and water tariff effected in Delhi, contending the policy decisions of Congress-supported AAP government in the national capital would give rise to inflation.
‘The price hikes done by AAP government in Delhi and its alliance partner Congress will affect every household in the city. BJP wants immediate roll back of the increase in prices of water, cooking gas and CNG,’ BJP state president Vijay Goel said.
He said the ‘cruel hike of Rs 220 in non-subsidised LPG cylinder will further tighten the noose on especially the middle and lower income groups’ who are grappling with skyrocketing prices of food grains and all other essential commodities.
