Bikers snatch Rs 3L from businessman

A businessman was on Wednesday robbed of Rs three lakh cash by the motorcycle-borne snatchers in the NIT area of the city, police said.
“Rajesh Dhull, a businessman and a resident of Sector-9, withdrew Rs three lakh from Canara Bank branch at Tikona Park.
After withdrawing cash he went to meet a friend near Neelam Chowk, also in NIT area,” SHO Kotwali,
Bharat Singh said.
While he was going back to his car with a bag containing cash in his hand, a motorcycle came from behind and a man riding pillion snatched the bag from Rajesh, he said. Singh said a case has been registered and probe was on.
