Bihar MLA, wife molested on train, 2 TTEs held

The Bihar unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has strongly condemned the incident of misbehabiour with BJP MLA from Agiaon constituency in Bhojpur district Shivesh Kumar and his wife on the running Danapur-Howrah Express (12352) train came to light on Friday night near Patna Saheb station.
Taking on Railways for the crime inside the train by its officials, BJP state secretary Mrityunjay Jha said, ‘It is only Railways who should be blamed for the incident’.
‘When an MLA and his wife can be misbehaved on running train, how a common man could feel safe’, Jha added.
On the issue of security inside the trains, Mrityunjay Jha said, ‘Does Railways has any helpline no to register such complaints while being on train’. ‘The Railways should must make strong provisions so that such crimes won’t happen again,’ Jha said.
Two railway TTEs, identified as Pankaj Kumar and Ajay, were arrested by police in this connection. An FIR was lodged with Patna Saheb GRP in this regard.
According to Patna Saheb GRP SHO, BJP MLA from Agiaon constituency in Bhojpur district Shivesh Kumar was travelling in AC 2 coach of the train along with his wife and six-month-old child. A few TTEs, who were also travelling in the same coach, misbehaved and scuffled with the MLA and his family. These TTEs were allegedly under the influence of liquor. However, the state police provided escort to MLA and his family at Khusrupur station. Later, they continued their onward journey to Howrah, he said.
