Bihar govt transfers 21 IPS officials

Ratna Sanjay Katiyar will be the new IG of Special Vigilance Unit as well as Special Branch as the Bihar government on Friday transferred 21 IPS officials. Katiyar, recently promoted in the rank of Inspector General of Police (IG) and at present posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Magadh range at Gaya has been transferred and posted as the IG (Special Vigilance Unit) at Patna, according to a notification issued by the home department.
