Model Town robbers strike again, rob Medical Store at NFC

New Delhi: Two days after three masked robbers robbed a family at gunpoint in Model town, the same gang struck again and robbed a medical store in Sarai Jullena of New Friends colony in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. The gang barged inside the 24x7 medical store and took the two men present inside the store at gunpoint. The whole incident was captured on the CCTV camera of the medical store. The three men were seen wearing masks and brandishing weapons as they took money from the cash counter. The gang spent close to 2 minutes inside the store and fled after scaring the living daylights out of the shop attendants.

The victims made a PCR call at 5 am regarding a robbery in Sanjeevni Chemist shop at Sarai Jullena village.

"Three armed men came inside the shop and took away the cash in the counter amounting to nearly one lakh rupees and also took away two mobile phones and sped away on a motorcycle. One person was wearing a helmet while two persons covered their faces with handkerchiefs to hide their identity," said DCP South East Chinmoy Biswal.

The gang which committed two armed robberies in a span of two days has become a new menace for Delhi Police.
