Fire at posh Ggn condo kills mother of four-year-old

Gurugram: Tragedy struck at Tulip Orange society in Sector-70 of Gurugram after a 32-year-old woman died due to suffocation after a fire broke out at the posh condominium. The deceased who identified as Swati Garg was the mother of a four-year-old daughter and there were unconfirmed reports that she was expecting her second child.

The incident occurred in the wee hours on Monday at around 2 am. According to an official of the fire department, after the incident was reported at about 2:30 am four fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot.

While residents of the remaining flats waited for the firefighters to arrive at the scene and remained inside the apartments, the woman, living on the fifth floor, had tried to escape along with her husband and daughter.
