FASTags deadline extended to December 15

New Delhi: The transport ministry on Friday extended the December 1, deadline for 100 percent electronic toll collection across all National Highways in India by two weeks. The new deadline has been set for December 15 now, with the government saying that it wants to allow a 15-day-breather to vehicle owners to switch to FASTags, officials here said.
