Coronavirus LIVE updates: Two suspected cases detected in J&K
Coronavirusoutbreak LIVE Updates: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Saturday reported two suspected cases of coronavirus. Both the persons had a travel history of Italy and South Korea and have now been shifted to a quarantine facility in Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu.
Meanwhile, samples of two of the three people who came from Italy to Hoshiarpur in Punjab have also tested positive for coronavirus in a preliminary report by AIIMS hospital in New Delhi. The duo has been admitted to GMCH Amritsar and their final reports are awaited from NIV, Pune. These are the first two cases from Punjab that have tested positive in preliminary testing.
So far, 31 people have tested positive for coronavirus in India, according to the Union Health Ministry. The outbreak has killed more than 3,400 people and over 100,000 lakh people have been infected worldwide. The virus has emerged in more than 90 countries, with seven countries reporting their first cases on Friday.
