Bhondsi Jail warden killed after speeding car hits him

In a hit and run case on Thursday night, a jail warden from Bhondsi prison lost his life while another warden was injured. 

The incident took place when both the victims were returning to their duty in Bhondsi prison after attending a wedding in Faridabad. 

Deceased Haripal (45) and Azad Singh (50) were returning to Gurgaon at around 11.30 pm on a motorcycle, when an unknown  speeding vehicle hit them near Bandhwari Mod and escaped from the spot. 

Both fell down due to the collision and received major injuries. Haripal received a head injury due to the fall and succumbed to his injury, while Singh fractured his arm and received bruises. 

According to some of the passers-by, the two injured victims were taken to the hospital where Haripal was declared brought dead and Singh was treated for injuries. 

Meanwhile, the passer-by also informed the police and a case has been registered under Sections 279, 337 and 304A of the IPC.
