Bhiwandi violence: MLA’s kin booked for murder, rioting

The police said four offences of rioting were registered against 100-plus armed mob that damaged a number of vehicles, including two police jeeps, on Sunday. Bhiwandi The Police said that two offences were registered on Sunday night. However, no arrests have been made.
Over 30 vehicles, including police vans, were torched by an irate mob, consisting of RPI activists, in Bhiwandi on Sunday. The activists also vandalised offices of Bhiwandi BJP MLA Mahesh Chougule, whose relative Raju Chougule was booked in the case.
