Bhagwat, ministers to share dais for Hindus

With an objective to bring Hindus on a common platform to formulate and share ways on how they can influence and raise global issues, the World Hindu Congress (WHC) is going to organise a conclave in New Delhi from November 21-23, where central ministers, apart from RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, will be present.

This would be for the first time when central ministers from the NDA government will share the dais with other imminent dignitaries including RSS chief and Dalai Lama to take up issues of global challenges under the theme of ‘Sangachchhadhwam Samvadadhwam’ which means ‘Step together, Express together’.

Beside, Lama and Bhagwat, others who will be present on the occasion are Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, HRD minister Smriti Irani, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Nirmala Sitharaman, Republic of Guyana’s finance minister Dr. Ashni Singh, Eminent Scientists G. Madhavan Nair and Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, Educationists Prof. SB Majumdar, Dr. G Visvanthan, Prof Kapil Kapoor and film makers Priyadarshan and Major Ravi. Well-known film actress from South India Sukanya Ramesh will also be present on the occasion.

The three-day global Hindu conclave - WHC - will be held at Hotel Ashok in the national capital where 1,500 delegates from over 40 countries are likely to be participate. The historic event will consist of seven conferences (covering Economics, Women’s Rights, Education and Media), 45 sessions and 200 eminent speakers. ‘The idea is to provide a global platform for Hindu society to deliberate and formulate solutions to the myriad challenges being faced by Hindus worldwide,’ a press statement issued by Congress reads.

It was conceptualised by Swami Vigyananand, an academic turned guru, and happens in every four year.
