Yuva Express rake to ply instead of Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express today

Kolkata: Yuva Express rake will be plied instead of Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express on Monday as the latter will not be operational due to technical reasons.

According to an official, the decision has been taken on safety grounds. “Admissible refund, as applicable, will be given in due course,” Eastern Railway stated.

For catering to the passengers requirement, the rake of Yuva Express will ply in both directions in place of Vande Bharat rake on Monday with stoppages at Bolpur Shantiniketan and Malda Town for 10 minutes each in both the directions.
