Unidentified male body with severed head recovered

Malda: In the Hiyakhore area near National Highway 512 under Gazole Police Station, a decapitated body was discovered on Friday morning.

Local residents found the body in the bushes by the roadside. The police arrived at the scene and recovered the body and took it to Gazole Hospital before sending it to Malda Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy.

The identity of the deceased remained unknown.
