Train services to be regulated from Aug 18 to September 6

Kolkata: Train services will be regulated from August 18 to September 6 as the works related to third line commissioning will continue between Rampurhat and Chatra from August 18.

Due to which, pre-interlocking work will continue at Rampurhat, Swadinpur, Nalhati and Chatra station over Rampurhat-Sahibganj station.

Ten pairs of main and express trains will remain cancelled on different dates between August 18 to September 6. Eighteen 18 UP and 14 Down mail or express trains will be diverted via Bandel-Katwa-Azimganj.

Fifteen passenger trains from Rampurhat, four passenger trains from Burdwan, five from Azimganj, two from Sahibganj and one from Barharwa, Katwa, Andal and Howrah will remain cancelled. Meanwhile shuttle locals will be run for the convenience of passengers.
