St. Xavier’s University to introduce AI courses

Kolkata: St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata is likely to introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) in both its undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degrees.

As a course, AI is becoming important in today’s world with its usage booming amongst several businesses.

Adding AI as a new course to the university’s syllabus is likely to open various avenues for the students.

According to reports, a new building at the university’s New Town campus is going to be opened for the same.

The Artificial Intelligence course may be held at this new building.

Reportedly apart from Artificial Intelligence, courses on robotics and aviation may also be launched soon at the university.

The university is presently running 17 courses in undergraduate and postgraduate disciplines.
