Newborn abandoned outside temple rescued

Siliguri: A newborn baby boy was found near a temple at Chhotopathu area at Ranidanga in Phansidewa on Monday Morning by locals. Police from Phansidewa Police Station reached the spot soon after being informed.

The baby was rescued and taken to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, where doctors confirmed he is stable. Police have started an investigation to identify the parents.
