Minor held with stolen phones worth over Rs 1L

Railway Protection Force (RPF) under Operation SATARK, apprehended a minor, a resident of Bhagalpur, Bihar, who was wandering at Platform no 04 of Malda station in a suspicious manner on 5 July at about 6:24 am after the arrival of Farakka Express (train no.13484DN). On a thorough search of the suspect , the RPF personnel recovered 5 Android phones worth Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand which were stolen by the person from passengers of Farakka Express in running condition. The recovered Mobile phones were seized by the RPF and the detainee was handed over to GRPS of Malda Town Station for further legal course of action.
