Man kills brother over land dispute

BALURGHAT: A long-standing land dispute turned fatal at Nalipara under Tapan PS on Friday, leaving Abdul Karim Sarkar (40) dead and his brother Abdul Mannan Sarkar (38) critically injured.
Police said the attack was allegedly carried out by another brother, Faruk Mian, who, along with family members, is absconding.
The weapon was recovered, and the body sent for post-mortem.
