Bengal health sector wins SKOCH Award of Excellence

Fair price medicine shops and CCU in the districts of West Bengal were ranked the best project in the country in <g data-gr-id="13">health</g> sector and won the SKOCH Award of Excellence.

Bengal is now on the top spot in finance and amongst the top three states in Agriculture and Rural Development and Governance.

Kanyashree, the e-governance project of KMC, web-based integrated monitoring system of panchayat bodies and GRIPS of the Directorate of Commercial Taxes were also among the winners.

Overall, Bengal has been adjudged as the state with maximum improvement in performance in last 

one year. “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to my entire Paschimbanga <g data-gr-id="14">Paribar</g>,” Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said in <g data-gr-id="11">Facebook</g> post.
