Benedict accompanied by parents for Sherlock

British actor Benedict Cumberbatch was joined by his real life parents for an episode of detective series Sherlock. Cumberbatch reprised his role as Sherlock Holmes in the latest installment of the popular show, which aired in Britain on New Year’s Day, and his parents joined him for the special episode. Timothy Carlton and Wanda Ventham, who are both actors, played Holmes’ parents, reports contactmusic.com.
