Bebo gets first friendship band!

Believe it or not, but Kareena Kapoor has apparently never been given a friendship band before. ‘I have never celebrated Friendship Day before this and no one has ever given me a friendship band. This is my first and I am so glad it is. I couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to the day,’ said Kareena, after celebrating the day with director Madhur Bhandarkar and a bunch of kids from the Smile Foundation on the sets of Heroine.
Kapoor and Bhandarkar exchanged friendship bands with the kids, giving them chocolates. The kids gave them friendship certificates as return gift.
Meanwhile, Bhandarkar clarified the controversy regarding the film’s trailer, saying they did not mean to demean anyone.
‘We have censored it. It has been censored for Dubai and has been passed by the censor board. There are some people who have raised objections. But we did not mean to demean anyone, Dubai is my personal favourite city,’ the 43-year-old said. In the film’s promo Kapoor says: ‘If a heroine buys a car, it’s gifted to her by a businessman... and, god forbid, if she goes to Dubai, you people make a rate card for her.’
