B.Com 1st year DU student allegedly raped by duo in Gzb

A B.Com <g data-gr-id="17">1st year</g> student of Delhi University alleged rape by two persons on Monday at around 10.30 am when the 18-year-old was returning from a cyber cafe.

The two accused, Lalit and Sachin, allegedly pulled her inside Lalit’s empty house and raped her forcibly. On resisting, the girl was blackmailed of dire consequences and also physically assaulted.

She went back and told her family members about the incident following which she was taken to Kavi Nagar police station where an FIR was lodged against the accused duo. According to sources, the police arrested Lalit. However, Sachin is said to be absconding. The cops have launched a manhunt for Sachin who is yet to be arrested, added the source. 

The girl was referred to <g data-gr-id="19">government</g> hospital for medical examination and a case under Section 376 (rape) of IPC has been registered, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ran Vijay Singh said.
