Baroda CA president Samarjeet Gaekwad removed from post

Members of the faction led by Amin, an ex-BCA President, passed a resolution against Gaekwad after he adjourned the AGM on conclusion of the listed business.

Snehal Parikh, In-charge Secretary of BCA, said that the members present in the AGM were very angry over the manner, in which Gaekwad adjourned the meeting.

So, they submitted a no-confidence motion against Gaekwad to JT Patel, BCA Vice-President (belonging to the Amin group), who was in the chair.

After the AGM was adjourned by Gaekwad, the members present at the meet “unanimously” adopted the motion removing him from the post of President and appointed Patel as his successor, Parikh said.
