Balika Inter college to come up in Hoshiarpur

The Noida Authority on Thursday gave its green signal to Balika Inter college in Hoshiarpur area. The go-ahead came after the tender procedure was completed. The construction work is expected to begin from 15 February after a bond would be signed between the authority and contractor.
Rama Raman, chairman and CEO of Noida Authority on Thursday gave his approval to the project that was announced by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav in 2013. The college that would be spread across 8,000 square metres of land would be built at a cost of Rs 12 crore.
According to an authority official, the construction work would begin immediately after the bond is signed. Apart from Hoshiarpur, the CEO has given approval to the proposal for another Balika Inter college in Sorkha village in Noida. The CEO has directed work circle to earmark land for the college. Last year, Yadav had announced an inter-college for girls in the Hoshiarpur village of Noida along with various other projects.
