Bahadurgarh: Main accused who set five on fire arrested

A 35-year-old man, who is involved in the brutal murder of four persons whose bodies were burnt at Bahadurgarh,  Haryana, by setting them on fire after a shoot-out in Delhi on the eve of New Year, has been arrested by Delhi Police Special Cell.

The accused has been identified as Ravinder, a resident of Mitraun in Delhi. Police have recovered one country made pistol of .315 bore along with two live cartridges from his possession.

According to the police, Ravinder revealed that about a year ago, enmity with Naveen Khati started after a quarrel amongst them. On New Year’s eve, Ravinder looked very vindictive and wanted to settle scores with Naveen.

At about 9.30 pm, during New Year’s celebrations,  the duo met at Ravinder’s office where he told that he was determined to teach a lesson to the other group.

“At that time, most of the members of the group were present. Pale stopped the car and Ravinder along with others dragged them to his office and shot them dead. Thereafter, the bodies were taken to Issarehedi Village in Haryana and set on fire,” Rajiv Ranjan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) said.
