The US authorities have recalled 2500 handmade baby dolls manufactured in India as the toy posed ‘choking hazard’ to young children. Sold in US by Illinois-based Land of Nod, the dolls were manufactured by Noida-based Radiant Exports. The US consumer product safety commission said the hands on the plush dolls can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. In all 2,500 such dolls have been recalled between October 2012 and March 2013.
