Babul Supriyo injured in road mishap, stable

In a road accident in South-West Delhi’s Vasant Gaon area, BJP MP and Union Minister of State for Urban Development, Babul Supriyo received injuries after his motorbike collided with an Innova car  on Friday evening. He was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Center by the driver of Innova car.

According to sources, at the time of the accident he was going to receive his daughter from the airport. En route, he had a collision with an Innova car after which he lost balance on his bike and fell on the road. He received minor injuries on his hand and chest.

A call was made to the police control room by the hospital staff. Initially and the senior officials of South Delhi police reached the spot and the hospital where they learnt that the place where accident took place falls under South-West jurisdiction. Later, the officials of South-West reached the spot.

“It is yet to be ascertained that how the accident took place and who was at fault,” said DCP South-West.
