Awards given for excellence in Logistics Industry

In a bid to recognise the contribution of people from the rapidly growing logistic sector, also touted as the backbone of country’s industrial and economic development, Million Minds Management Services Limited, in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Logisitics and Transport (CILT), conferred Logistics Achievers’ Awards 2013 to key personalities from the industry. Recognising their exemplary contribution to the industry, Hena Kausar (head, supply chain of Maruti Suzuki India Limited) was awarded with the Logistics Woman of the year. While, Raghuvar Dayal, former managing director of Concord was bestowed with the life-time achievement award, D P Agarwal (chairman, TCI) was given Doyen of Indian Logistics, Vikas Anand (COO-DHL) and Divya Jain, (director and head of Safe Education, Safe Express) bagged the Logistics Achievers’ Award. The awards also felicitated some drivers of commercial vehicles for their hard work. The criterion’s for these awards were timeliness, smart management of vehicles and people, fuel saving, among several others.
