Awarding agents of change

On the occasion of Uday Agnihotri Memorial Recognition Program, organised by Samadhan Abhiyan on April 30, Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi, distributed awards to personalities involved in contributing to the upliftment of the society in sectors such as health, education and empowerment.
The Samadhan Abhiyan Brochure was inaugurated by the CM and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and ministers of Delhi government were present at the occasion held at India Habitat Centre.
With motivated volunteers and dedicated ideology Samadhan Abhiyan is ready to transform the society. They are passion driven individuals strongly targeting radical changes. Samadhan Abhiyan was founded by Archana Agnihotri in the year 2014 and since its inception it has endeavoured to make a difference to people’s life.
She left a flourishing career in the USA, to come back home to improve upon the social system that has manifested in the form of Samadhan Abhiyan. Samadhan Abhiyan works on three major planks of education, health and social empowerment.
It is funded by public donations, but is self financed at the moment. It organises seminars against child sex abuse in various schools and slums spreading awareness.
They have also planned various plantation drives and health camps in the times to come. Appropriate vocational training for youth is one of the main agendas of Samadhan Abhiyan.
