Auto Expo 2016 to be held in Greater Noida

After a meeting of senior district officials, Rama Raman, chairman of all three authorities, said that Greater Noida is all set to host Auto Expo-the Motor 2016. The next Auto Expo which is an international motor show is being organised from February 5 to 9 at Greater Noida. 

The upcoming Expo will showcase automobiles from all major players and have 23 exhibitors of four wheelers (passenger car) and 15 exhibitors of two wheelers. It is one of the largest shows organised in India for the auto industry. 

The show shall have 70 launches in four-wheeler category and 9 Indian as well as 3 global launches in two-wheeler category. 

The event shall occupy an area of 65,000 sq metre in the permanent halls and 7,000 sq metre in the open area.

A meeting consisting of officials of the NOIDA, GNIDA along with the DM and SSP city magistrates and others with officials of SIAM, the organiser of the event, was held on Tuesday at India Expo 
Centre to discuss and take stock of the preparation and various other arrangements required for the successful implementation of the event. The last Auto Expo which was held in 2014 had recorded 5,60,000 visitors. Next year, the organisers are expecting more than 6,00,000 visitors. 

Rama Raman inspected the preparations while instructing the concerned departments to spare no expenses in making the show a grand success.
