Australian delegation visits BHU for academic exchange

A delegation of Edith Cowan University, Australia, comprising 17 members under the leadership of Dr. Leisa Armstrong visited Banaras Hindu University on 3rd December 2012. The delegation visited Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Prof. Mallickarjun Joshi, Chairman, International Centre and Prof. Avijit Sen of the IAS. Prof. Joshi explained about the unique nature of BHU, activities of the International Centre and the academic strengths of the various institutes and faculties of the University and also expressed the keenness of BHU to enter into academically beneficial MoUs between both the Universities. He also discussed the strengths at the Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha. The delegation later visited the IMS, IIT, Faculties of Science, Social Sciences, Visual Arts and Management.
