Assembly polls: EC sets up cell to deal with objectionable SMSes

The Election Commission has formed a joint cell with police, including Anti-Terrorist Squad, to check objectionable SMSes during electioneering for 1 December assembly polls in Rajasthan. The chief election office, Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Rajasthan police department have formed the cell to deal with the complaints regarding objectionable SMSes during assembly poll campaign, a police spokesman said. Any complaint can be lodged in person or by forwarding the message to :08082000222 and SMSINFO.
