A 12-year-old boy suffered bullet injury on his leg along with a 29-year-old man when two unidentified bike-borne men who had come to kill a youth accidentally fired at them in Budh Vihar area of Outer Delhi’s Vijay Vihar on Monday morning.
Police said that the child identified as Vimal and the man identified as Rajesh are currently out of danger. According to the police, the incident took place at around 10 am in Budh Vihar Phase-II when two bike-borne men came to kill Ranjit, brother-in-law of deceased cable operator Devender Rathi.
Rathi was shot dead by unidentified men in Begumpur near his house on January 29 this year.
Police said that Ranjit too was in the business of cable operators. The cops further said that the accused started firing in the air indiscriminately in the lane when one of the bullets hit 12-year-old Vimal’s leg.
