Aspiring actor, his friend held for kidnapping, killing 13-yr-old

The Delhi Police, on Tuesday arrested two persons in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a 13-year-old boy Utkarsh. The body of 13-year-old boy, who was kidnapped near his home in Gandhinagar on Tuesday last week, was found in a drain in Geeta Colony on Wednesday. His parents
also got two ransom calls demanding Rs 1 crore for his release.
The prime accused, identified as Pratap Singh Sisodiya (22), was victim’s neighbour and was reportedly close to his family. According to the police, he was an aspiring actor, who had lost all hopes and wanted to open a call centre. Another accused Sidharth Sharma (24) also wanted to open a mobile repairing centre of his own with his share of ransom money, revealed Ajay Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East).
He further said the duo had first planned to kidnap Pratap’s eight-year-old cousin, Vibhu, whose father was a property dealer, but later changed their plans because they believed Utkarsh was an easier target.
On 18 November, Pratap convinced Utkarsh to come to his rented apartment and offered him drink laced with sedatives.
