ASI caught red-handed accepting Rs.50,000 bribe

After facing flak from people over the deteriorating law and order situation in the capital, the Delhi police was embarrassed yet again by one of its own men.
An assistant sub-inspector of the Delhi police named Subey Singh was suspended by DCP (west) after the ASI was caught taking a bribe of Rs 50,000.
The suspension after a property dealer named Vicky (26) approached the deputy commissioner of police (DCP) with a complaint that the ASI had demanded a bribe from him and threatened him with dire consequences if the bribe was not paid.
Vicky, who had captured the act on camera also handed over the footage to the DCP. Delhi police immediately suspended the ASI and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
Vijay said that he was a poor man and could not pay the money and therefore, decided to tape the incident and nail the tainted cop.
